Book Scanner Provides Unique Service for Students and Patrons

Located near the Information Commons Area, the Scannx Book ScanCenter is the library’s most powerful and accessible self-service book scanner. With its user-friendly touchscreen monitor, the book scanner is easily able to produce seamless document duplicates. This feature improves the library experience for both library staff and patrons. 

Users are able to scan books and documents into searchable PDF, Word doc, JPEG, TIFF and PNG file formats with the click of a button. Along with other functions, users are able to send scanned files to email; to a smartphone/tablet; to document-storage systems like Google Drive, Dropbox, and network folders or to additional document-management devices like fax machines, USB flash drives and other multi-function devices.

Other benefits of the book scanner include less paper and waste, extends lifespan of books, increases accuracy, add-on features, and the scanner also provides a multi-language compatibility.
