One of the most frequently requested services in the beginning of the semester is the free book ordering.  With GILFind Express, aka the Universal Catalog, students, staff and faculty at CSU can order books from any USG university library to be delivered to CSU Libraries.

To order a book, click on the link for GILFind Express on the CSU Libraries website under Resources.  (See graphic 1)

You will need to log into your library account.  (See graphic 2)

1) Select Columbus State from the dropdown menu

2) Enter your 909 number (institution ID)

3) Enter your last name

4) Click Get My Pin (See graphic 3)

You should get a message that the pin was sent to your CSU email.  If you received an error message please contact the Circulation desk at 706-507-8692.

Once in your library account you can change your pin to a password you are more familiar with, renew books you have checked out, check your fines, and check the GALILEO password.

If you find a book in GILFind Express that you want to request, simply check to see if there are any holdings at CSU then click the link to place a request.  (See graphic 4)

Books typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days but may take longer.

Some items, such as ebooks, are not available for request.

Once your request arrives you will get an email to notify you it is available at the Circulation desk.  Requests not retrieved will be sent back after 10 days.
