Using Government Documents to Find Holiday Shopping Tips


The economy is ready for another boost and the holiday shopping season is right around the corner. As you search for great gifts keep in mind some useful shopping resources available at CSU libraries.

Does your mother want one of those new e-readers? Trying to decide on which new laptop to ask for? Consumer Reports magazine has current issues available in print on the news stand area located on the first floor of the Schwob Library and is available free online through several databases on Galileo.

The Federal Trade Commission has issued government documents with helpful tips and scams to avoid. Recent publications include: 10 Tips for Smart Holiday Shopping Online, Holiday Shopping, Circa 2008, and this year on their website Holiday Shopping on a Budget: Tips from the Federal Trade Commission.
