From Pulp to Print explores the journey books take from the beginning stages of
paper making to the end result of binding and even beyond as books can take on
a new life past their original purpose. This exhibition takes a unique
perspective on book making looking at the process from an artistic point of
view delving deep into the methods and techniques used to construct books that
are legitimately works of art in their own right. A variety of themes are explored
to illuminate this process with specific examples provided from the CSU
Archives and CSU Art Department students. The
exhibit is located in the rear left of the first floor of the library and will
be on display until April 30th.
