All About E-books

Did you know that CSU Libraries has access to over 35,000 e-books?  While many still prefer the tangible print version of books, e-books are becoming more and more popular, especially in universities with distance education and high demand for e-resources.

To access the e-books at CSU go to the GILFind Catalog and limit your search by location to ebooks on Ebscohost, you will also be able to access these directly from GALILEO (See Image 1).

Click on the link for the book and you can read the ebook online or download it by logging into (or creating) your EbscoHost account.  The EbscoHost account is free and can also be used to organize articles in folders when doing searches in GALILEO (See Image 2).

You can check out e-books for up to 7 days but remember, to view the e-books you will need to download a compatible viewer for your device.  Most CSU e-books limit to one user at a time (See Image 3).

For leisure reading, the Chattahoochee Valley Public Libraries definitely need a shout-out for their amazing downloadable e-book and audiobook collections.  Visit their page at CVLGA.org to get information (See Image 4)
