Prince Among Slaves Film Showing
Based on a biography by
Terry Alford, Prince Among Slaves chronicles Abdul-Rahman's
true life African-Muslim-prince-turned-American-slave drama cycle with
historic and scholastic commentary along the way. The first
showing will be this Tuesday, 10/15, at 5:30 pm in the forum area of Schwob Memorial Library. The event is a part of the NEH Bridging
Cultures--Muslim Journeys grant received by CSU Libraries
and will be hosted by Dr. Gary Sprayberry. Refreshments will be provided.
