Beginning in 2003, all CSU faculty promoted to the rank of full professor have been invited to participate in “Rite of Passage” convocations. Sponsored by the Office of the Provost and VPAA, these ceremonies offer new professors the opportunity to share brief thoughts with the university community on their teaching experiences, research, or, more generally, life in the academy.
The Rite of Passage Convocations for faculty promoted to full professor in academic years 2009-10, 2010-11, and 2011-12 will take place beginning next week. The lectures will be held in the main library's first floor forum area.
Please join us in celebrating the achievements of our full professors. Come at 12:00 noon for food and fellowship!
