Privacy Rights vs Public Safety Lecture



First Year Experience (FYE) is sponsoring a faculty lecture to continue the conversation begun by Lucinda Roy's book, No Right to Remain Silent about campus safety, privacy rights, and public policy. Theresa Willey, from the Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology, will deliver "Privacy Rights vs. Public Safety: Has Society Prepared the Crime for the Criminal to Commit?" Her presentation will be on Tuesday, November 12, at 12:30 p.m., in the Simon Schwob Library forum area. Refreshments will be provided starting at 12 noon.
